Hello, Matt here from the Coach.me team. I'm working on the Android app upgrades and have some updates to share.

As you may know, we recently pushed a major update to the Android app to make it compatible with modern devices and to comply with Google's latest security and accessibility requirements. Previously, users with newer devices were simply unable to use the app and we couldn't push a new version until we were up to code and using the latest SDK.

Specifically, we updated to SDK version 34 which targets OS version 14. We're watching SDK 35 and OS 15 and will make that update when the time is right.

Since the update, we've had thousands of new installs and updates. We've also seen that some devices are experiencing crashes. We're working to isolate and fix these crashes, but for the most part the user experience seems to be positive.

In addition to making the app more stable, we're working to get subscription payment services working in the app again. They've been non-functional for a while, but we want you to be able to opt in with a coach through the app.

We're excited to announce that after a long hiatus, our Android app is once again available on the Play Store! Over the past few months, we've been hard at work making the necessary upgrades to bring it back.

However, in our eagerness to deliver, we accidentally skipped the crucial "closed testing" release and pushed the changes to the live store. As a result, you might encounter some bugs in this latest release. We invite the bravest among you to download the app and give it a try. Your feedback is invaluable to us—please report any issues you find, and we'll get to fixing them as quickly as possible.

We have identified 3 issues with our Android app. We've managed to fix 1 issue pretty quickly. Now working on 2 others. Lidia
